Position Overview
We invite applications for the role of Network Engineer on a contractual basis at our Electronic City location in Bangalore. The role demands management and upkeep of secure and efficient enterprise LAN/WAN systems ensuring optimal network availability, performance, and security compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, deploying, and maintaining secure and reliable enterprise LAN and WAN networks.
- Configuring and proactively maintaining network devices including firewalls, routers, switches, and VPN gateways.
- Implementing and enforcing network security protocols including access controls and intrusion prevention systems.
- Performing routine firmware updates, configuration audits, and thorough documentation of network infrastructures.
- Working collaboratively with IT and cross-functional teams to facilitate infrastructure enhancements and expedient issue resolution.
- Supporting cybersecurity efforts, vulnerability tracking, and adherence to corporate security standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an IT-related technical discipline.
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking environments.
- Expertise in routing protocols, switching technologies, firewall configuration, and VPN setup.
- Certifications such as CCNA, PCNSE, CCSA/CCSE, or CompTIA Network+ are advantageous.
