Job description
Position Overview
This full-time role involves managing and supporting the university's network infrastructure, ensuring robust and secure connectivity across all campuses.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration, maintenance, and supervision of LAN, WAN, Wireless Networks, Switches, Routers, Firewalls, and structured cabling systems.
- Diagnose and resolve network-related issues promptly to maintain optimal service.
- Support network security measures and oversee internet connectivity services.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of the network infrastructure.
- Contribute to infrastructure upgrade projects and collaborate with service providers to guarantee network reliability and performance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
- Certification in network administration is mandatory, with a preference for NSE4 certification as an additional advantage.
- A minimum of three years' relevant professional experience as a Network Administrator.
