National Warranty Writer

Role Overview

Fraserway RV, Canada's largest coast-to-coast recreational vehicle dealership, seeks an experienced National Warranty Writer based in Abbotsford, BC. This full-time onsite role offers an opportunity to leverage your warranty expertise across national service teams while developing a long-term career with a stable, family-owned organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze repair work orders to confirm warranty eligibility and verify completeness and accuracy of claims.
• Interpret and apply manufacturer warranty policies, procedures, and documentation standards.
• Determine financial responsibility allocations among manufacturer warranty, vendors, internal sources, or customer payments.
• Secure necessary approvals and prepare precise warranty claims submissions.
• Track submitted claims, resolve denials or payment shortfalls, and optimize warranty recoveries.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors, Technicians, Service Managers, and manufacturer reps to ensure compliance with warranty repair standards.
• Advise on warranty documentation, validation of repairs, and best practices for claim submissions.
• Support technicians by coordinating repair processes and engaging manufacturers for technical guidance as needed.
• Identify warranty patterns, support recall management, and help enhance process efficiencies.
• Effectively work independently within a collaborative national team while juggling multiple priorities.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in warranty administration, warranty writing, service advising, or warranty claims processing, preferably within RV, automotive, heavy truck, agricultural equipment, or powersports sectors.
• Deep knowledge of manufacturer warranty programs, OEM policies, and claim submission workflows.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a firm commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in computer use, data entry, and documentation.
• Possession of a valid Class 5 driver's licence.

Additional Assets

• Familiarity with IDS or comparable dealer management software.
• Experience supporting several dealership or service locations.
• Knowledge of recall processes, manufacturer authorizations, and warranty recovery methods.
