We are seeking a motivated and competitive sales leader to manage a national account in Canada. This position focuses primarily on Retail, Residential, and B2B campaigns, serving as the vital connection between the business, our clients, and the sales team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who balances active selling with strategic oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the intermediary between Fortune 500 clients and the sales team to strengthen and expand relationships.

- Provide engaging training and coaching on products and sales techniques to the sales team.
- Identify and resolve potential issues promptly through collaboration and creative problem-solving.
- Uphold integrity and maintain high standards of sales quality among the team.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure excellent execution.
- Communicate clearly across diverse groups within and outside the organization.
- Manage budgets efficiently, consulting P&L statements to meet performance metrics.
- Lead the launch of new sales offices, ensuring thorough integration with client and company systems, and comprehensive training on products, processes, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and quality representation of the client by sales offices and representatives.
- Drive sales office performance to meet client profitability and growth targets, fostering trust and strong relationships.
- Implement campaign initiatives and oversee follow-up support activities.
- Deliver regular status updates and action plans on sales offices to management.
- Lead by example in meeting sales and quality standards; mentor and coach others to achieve the same.
- Apply strong judgment and business insight to decide when to act, escalate, and assess risks and opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of five years in direct sales, preferably with experience in B2B, door-to-door, or residential sales.
- At least five years in sales leadership roles involving coaching or mentoring, ideally in quota-driven environments.
- Consistent history of meeting or surpassing sales targets either individually or through team leadership.
- Retail store management experience is advantageous but not a requirement; direct sales leadership is prioritized.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial planning.
- Experience managing revenue growth through indirect sales channels, including vendor or distributor partner management, is a plus.
- Background in process improvement and business consulting.
- Bilingual proficiency in French is desirable but optional.
- Outstanding communication skills paired with strong energy, passion, and executive presence.
- A mindset oriented towards continuous learning and improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience managing profit and loss responsibilities.
- Possession of a valid passport, with willingness to travel primarily within Canada (30-35%) and occasionally to the U.S. 1-2 times annually.
Work Environment and Logistics
This position is fully remote. Candidates residing on the East Coast of Canada are preferred, especially bilingual candidates in Montreal or Toronto. Travel within Canada is expected approximately 30-35% of the time.
Benefits and Opportunities
- Complete remote work flexibility with travel to client locations and events.
- Engagement with leading national brands.
- Opportunities for career development in client services, experiential marketing, and program management.
- Exposure to various departments including finance, operations, and field leadership.
- Attractive compensation and benefits package.
