Role Overview

This internship sits within the Operations team in the M&A department and focuses on marketing support for label partners. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Operations, the intern will help coordinate and execute marketing work across content creation, creator partnerships, paid media, and performance tracking. The position is intended to keep workflows organized, support cross-functional communication, and help the team deliver value to internal stakeholders and external label partners.

Internship Details

This is a part-time internship for current students in the Summer/Fall 2026 term. The role runs for 3 to 4 months, with a weekly commitment of 10 to 23 hours. Interns must be eligible to work in the United States and able to come into the Los Angeles headquarters 2 to 3 times per week.

Responsibilities

  • Support outreach to creators, influencers, and curators, including help with rate discussions and payment coordination.
  • Contribute to campaign concepts and assist with creating marketing content for the M&A label client pipeline.
  • Edit both short-form and long-form social content using tools such as CapCut and Adobe Premiere.
  • Monitor social platforms for trends, viral audio, and emerging content patterns, with a preference for dance music trends.
  • Help prepare marketing proposals and campaign decks for M&A label clients.
  • Coordinate marketing ideas and updates with record label partners and internal teams.
  • Measure campaign results using internal and external analytics tools.
  • Keep digital assets and files organized and up to date.
  • Join internal and external meetings, then capture notes and action items.
  • Assist with paid advertising setup, optimization, and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Good working knowledge of social media platforms, online trends, and digital culture.
  • Comfort using Google Workspace tools such as Sheets, Docs, and Drive.
  • Interest in or familiarity with house, dance, and electronic music scenes is preferred.
  • Ability to edit content for social media using tools like CapCut, Canva, or Photoshop.
  • Currently pursuing or already holding a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Music Business, Communications, or a similar field.
  • Previous internship or work experience in music, entertainment, or marketing is preferred.

Program Information

  • Start timing is flexible within the Summer/Fall 2026 term.
  • Work arrangement is hybrid, with in-person attendance at the Los Angeles office 2 to 3 times each week.
  • Program length is 3 to 4 months.
  • Weekly time commitment is 10 to 23 hours.
