Multimedia / ELV Administration & Event Support Executive (L1)

Role Overview

Vistas Global is hiring a Multimedia / ELV Administration & Event Support Executive (L1) to keep audio-visual, multimedia, and ELV systems running smoothly across day-to-day operations and major events in Doha, Qatar. The position focuses on reliable system support, high availability, and quick technical response.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, maintain, and diagnose issues in AV and multimedia systems.
• Support equipment such as televisions, projectors, LED screens, monitors, IPTV set-top boxes, digital signage players, speakers, microphones, recording devices, and presentation tools.
• Handle IP camera systems, IPTV, digital signage, public address solutions, teleconferencing setups, and related multimedia platforms.
• Carry out preventive checks and routine maintenance to keep systems available and stable.
• Resolve hardware and software faults promptly and effectively.
• Keep accurate records for service work, asset inventories, repair histories, and spare parts.
• Contribute to future planning for multimedia and AV infrastructure needs.
• Support procurement by assessing AV products and technologies.

Event Support Duties

• Manage AV and multimedia setup activities from start to finish for events.
• Install temporary event systems, test them, configure them, and dismantle them after use.
• Provide hands-on technical assistance during live events.
• Verify that all multimedia equipment is fully functional before events begin.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and AMC vendors.
• Deliver fast troubleshooting support during live productions to reduce interruptions.

Operations and Service Support

• Handle service requests related to multimedia and AV infrastructure.
• Track system performance and identify potential issues early.
• Work in line with service level agreement requirements.
• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain readiness of multimedia systems for operational use.
• Guide end users on system use and basic technical operation.

Qualifications

The role calls for a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Electronics, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar field, along with at least 6 years of experience in AV system installation, configuration, and support, or equivalent hands-on experience. Professional AV systems installation and configuration certifications are required. Additional training or certification in physical security systems, IPTV, digital signage, and public address systems is also expected. Certifications in Extron, Crestron, or AMX control systems are considered a strong advantage.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Doha, Qatar. The job involves supporting both routine operations and large-scale event environments, with a strong emphasis on service quality, system uptime, and rapid issue resolution.
