Job description

Role Overview

The organisation is seeking a practical, hands-on Training Technician to help deliver laboratory-based technical training while keeping training equipment and facilities in proper working order.

Key Duties

  • Set up laboratory apparatus and prepare practical learning materials for training sessions.
  • Work alongside trainers to support hands-on exercises and demonstrations.
  • Look after laboratory tools, machines, and instruments so they remain serviceable.
  • Carry out routine preventive upkeep and minor repairs.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment faults when they arise.
  • Calibrate testing and monitoring devices to maintain accuracy.
  • Ensure the laboratory remains safe, organised, and ready for use.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement efforts and compliance-related activities.

Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a similar qualification. A Higher Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering will be considered an added advantage. The role requires at least 2 years of relevant technical experience. Strong English communication is necessary, and knowledge of Arabic is beneficial.

This position is based in Doha, Qatar and is a full-time onsite role.
