Multimedia Designer Executive/Senior Executive (2-Year Renewable Contract)

Position Overview

The Faculty of Science at the National University of Singapore seeks a creative, meticulous Multimedia Designer to join the Corporate Communications team on a full-time basis at the Kent Ridge Campus. This role involves crafting visual content from initial concept through to final production across diverse media.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce content for print, website, social media, infographics, corporate presentations, and promotional materials.
• Maintain brand consistency by ensuring all materials conform to university and faculty branding standards.
• Customize and optimize multimedia assets for various platforms and audience requirements.
• Conceive creative campaign ideas, including storyboards and art direction.
• Organize and archive project assets and files through a content management system.
• Keep abreast of industry developments to introduce innovative design solutions.
• Collaborate across teams on event management, digital marketing, and stakeholder outreach activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or related fields with a strong portfolio demonstrating skills.
• Minimum of two years relevant experience or agency exposure; candidates lacking experience but possessing a strong portfolio in social media and graphic design are welcome.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Express, and InDesign.
• Experienced in social media management on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Skilled in utilizing AI tools to enhance asset creation and workflow efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude, time management capabilities under pressure, meticulous attention to detail, and adaptability in fast-moving projects.
• Availability to work beyond standard office hours for productions and events as needed.

Additional Preferred Skills

• Background in science communication is advantageous.
• Ability to simplify and convey technical information for general audiences.
• Experience in photography and video editing for events and social media content.
• Familiarity with WordPress, HTML, CSS, and basic UI/UX concepts.
• Competence in motion graphics or animation tools such as Adobe After Effects.
• Experience coordinating with external vendors and managing deliverable quality with student assistants.
