Multi Skilled Groundworker Gang Operatives

Opportunity Overview

We are currently seeking four Multi Skilled Groundworker Gang operatives for an extensive infrastructure project in the UK anticipated to last between three to four years. This long-term contract offers stability and steady income for qualified candidates holding the necessary certifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform groundworks including service ducts installation, cable pulling, deep drainage works with depths ranging from two to four meters, and laying pipes.
• Carry out concreting and backfilling tasks after completion of drainage works.
• Operate equipment requiring Roller or Dumper tickets, with some members of the gang holding these qualifications.
• Participate fully in all aspects of construction site duties and manual labor functions to support various trades.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of CSCS Blue Card (Skilled Worker) is essential; CSCS Green Card holders with relevant experience may be considered if willing to upskill.
• Valid CPCS or NPORS plant operative certification.
• Current EUSR and Street Works tickets.
• Training in manual handling, deep drainage, pipelaying, paving and kerbing, concreting, and backfilling.
• Comprehensive knowledge of general construction procedures and on-site responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Driving licence is advantageous.

Employment Details

• Employment type: PAYE basis.
• Hourly wage: £20.00.
• Paid holidays: 30 days annually, including bank holidays.
• Overtime compensation: Time and a third after 10 hours Monday to Friday; time and a half during weekends.
