Location: Ballymun Civic Centre, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland
Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation work across light commercial environments and related settings.
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure all required paperwork is completed, with work delivered to best-practice standards.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance tasks within SLA targets.
- Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients and maintain courteous communication at all times.
- Apply up-to-date knowledge of IET wiring regulations so work complies with current standards.
- Perform minor installation and completion duties, including single- and three-phase low-voltage distribution cabling and equipment, steel and PVC trunking, tray and conduit containment, final circuit cabling, final termination of wiring accessories, data networking, HVCA controls, fault finding, inspection, and testing.
- Submit company documentation accurately and on time, whether in hard copy or electronically, as required by the contract.
- Work with the facilities manager to shape engineering solutions that fit client needs and budget constraints.
- Use initiative to resolve technical issues linked to minor works, including sourcing parts and materials and obtaining manufacturer support where needed.
- Maintain the highest standards of health and safety, including carrying out point-of-work risk assessments for every task.
- Demonstrate a strong working understanding of BS7671 and related IET guidance in line with best practice principles.
Requirements
- QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft in Electrician, with a completed electrical apprenticeship.
- At least 5 years of experience in building maintenance, especially planned, reactive, and remedial maintenance.
- Knowledge of National Rules for Electrical Installations, I.S. 10101:2020.
- Hold a current full Irish driving licence.
- Have a valid CSCS/CSR card or an equivalent skills card.
- Normal eyesight and colour vision.
- Desirable: experience with planned and reactive maintenance in a corporate environment.
- Desirable: strong troubleshooting ability, problem-solving skills, and self-motivation.
- Desirable: IT skills and familiarity with maintenance management systems, including preventative maintenance planning, reporting, and documentation.
- Desirable: high-voltage awareness training.
- Desirable: mechanical knowledge.
