Job description
Position Overview
This role involves managing all reservation inquiries for multiple properties, including booking requests, modifications, and cancellations via phone, fax, or mail. The agent will identify guest requirements, confirm room availability and rates, and clarify policies about guarantees, special pricing, and cancellations. In addition, they will document special requests, provide detailed information on property amenities and room options, and employ sales strategies to optimize revenue. Accurate input and retrieval of details in the reservation system are essential, including coding special room types such as complimentary, employee discounts, travel agent rates, and wholesale bookings. Proper escalation procedures must be followed when guest concerns arise.

Qualifications and Additional Information
Educationally, candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent. No prior related work or supervisory experience is required, nor is any license or certification mandatory.
