Job description

Role overview

This position supports the upkeep, readiness, and repair of a motorsport fleet that includes superbikes, academy motorcycles, go-karts, and cross karts. The mechanic will ensure vehicles remain safe, reliable, and race-ready through thorough servicing and hands-on technical work.

Core responsibilities

  • Carry out scheduled servicing, preventive upkeep, and repair work on motorcycles, go-karts, and other fleet equipment.
  • Identify mechanical and electrical issues and resolve them effectively.
  • Work on engines, braking systems, suspension, steering, driveline components, and electrical systems.
  • Handle tyre changes, chain and sprocket maintenance, brake servicing, fluid top-ups or replacements, and tuning tasks.
  • Keep the workshop organized, manage tools responsibly, and follow all safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, including job cards, inspection sheets, and technical checklists.
  • Work with Fleet Management to plan maintenance and coordinate spare-parts requirements.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in motorsport, motorcycle repair, karting, or a high-performance vehicle workshop.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and drivetrain systems.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and fix faults without close supervision.
  • Comfortable using workshop diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
  • Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive/Motorcycle Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred, and a motorcycle licence is an added advantage.

Additional information

This is an onsite contract position based in Doha, Qatar.
