Motor Technician - Skoda Service Team

Position Overview

Laharts is seeking a qualified Motor Technician to become part of our Skoda service unit in Kilkenny. This role requires a technically skilled individual who can efficiently service and diagnose vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute vehicle servicing and repairs following manufacturer guidelines and dealership protocols.
• Perform assigned tasks on job cards accurately and efficiently.
• Diagnose and fix vehicle faults using diagnostic tools and systematic methods.
• Conduct thorough vehicle health checks to identify additional safety or service needs.
• Complete all service paperwork adhering to ISO, warranty, and dealership stipulations.
• Maintain workspace cleanliness and adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be a qualified Motor Technician.
• Ability to independently manage responsibilities as well as work cooperatively in a team.
• Strong communication skills to describe and justify additional repair work.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate diligence and flexibility towards work duties.
• Hold a valid full clean driving license.
