Motor Claim Surveyor

Role Overview

This position is a full-time Motor Claim Surveyor role operating remotely. The primary responsibility involves evaluating damage to vehicles related to insurance claims by performing on-site inspections and compiling detailed reports supported by photographic evidence.

Key Duties

• Assess vehicle damages for insurance claims accurately and thoroughly.
• Review repair estimates and confirm the validity and coverage of claims.
• Collaborate effectively with repair centers, policyholders, and internal claims units to facilitate the claims process.
• Document inspection results clearly, including photographic documentation.
• Use digital and AI-assisted tools to enhance inspection accuracy and data collection.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards throughout the survey process.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Mandatorily fluent in Tamil; knowledge of Malayalam or Kannada is advantageous.
• Expertise in evaluating motor vehicle damages and comprehending repair documentation.
• Proficient in interpreting repair lists, parts inventories, and service reports with keen attention to detail.
• Comfortable with modern digital tools, mobile applications, and AI-based inspection technology.
• Strong communication abilities to liaise with multiple stakeholders including policyholders and repair facilities.
• Effective organization and time-management skills to manage multiple survey assignments within deadlines.
• Background knowledge of automotive insurance processes, claims workflows, and insurance regulations is preferred.
• Previous experience in motor surveying, claims adjustment, or automotive repair and inspection is favorable.
• Educational attainment of at least a high school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in automotive or insurance sectors constitutes an advantage.
• Dedicated to maintaining objective, unbiased, and equitable evaluation standards.
