Role Overview
The MOT Tester position involves performing standardized vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with established DVSA criteria. Working alongside a knowledgeable team, you will engage with a diverse array of car makes and models, continually adapting to innovations in automotive technology.
Daily Responsibilities
- Conducting MOT tests accurately in accordance with DVSA regulations
- Detecting defects and faults in vehicles
- Staying informed about current MOT testing regulations and industry best practices
- Maintaining thorough records and documentation for all inspections performed
- Delivering outstanding customer service and offering expert technical guidance
Candidate Requirements
- Qualification as a Technician with at least Level 2 certification in Light Vehicle Maintenance; Level 3 certification is preferred
- Proven experience and proficiency in MOT testing roles
- Possession of a DVSA Tester Certification
- Ability to work effectively independently and collaborate in teams
- Holding a valid full UK Driving Licence
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship
