Role Overview

The MOT Tester position involves performing standardized vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with established DVSA criteria. Working alongside a knowledgeable team, you will engage with a diverse array of car makes and models, continually adapting to innovations in automotive technology.

Daily Responsibilities

• Conducting MOT tests accurately in accordance with DVSA regulations
• Detecting defects and faults in vehicles
• Staying informed about current MOT testing regulations and industry best practices
• Maintaining thorough records and documentation for all inspections performed
• Delivering outstanding customer service and offering expert technical guidance

Candidate Requirements

• Qualification as a Technician with at least Level 2 certification in Light Vehicle Maintenance; Level 3 certification is preferred
• Proven experience and proficiency in MOT testing roles
• Possession of a DVSA Tester Certification
• Ability to work effectively independently and collaborate in teams
• Holding a valid full UK Driving Licence
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship
