MOT Motor Vehicle Technician - Mazda Nissan

About The Role

We are seeking a MOT Motor Vehicle Technician to join one of the fastest expanding motor groups in the UK. This role involves performing MOT testing, servicing, repair, and maintenance tasks on customer vehicles, preparing them for safe road use. The role offers experience across various manufacturers and vehicle models, with a focus on delivering high quality service and ownership of tasks.

Candidates are encouraged to train within the Manufacturer Franchise with ambitions to advance to Senior and Master Technician positions. Stoneacre is recognized for leading EV training and offers extensive support to develop skills in electric vehicle technology in industry-leading workshops equipped with modern facilities.

The total remuneration package can reach up to £45,000 on-target earnings (OTE) annually.

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT testing, routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance activities on various types of motor vehicles.
• Meet or exceed franchise, company, and manufacturer standards within scheduled timeframes.
• Diagnose faults, replace parts and consumables while maintaining accurate service records and customer documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in line with Health & Safety regulations.
• Communicate and advise customers on vehicle faults, servicing needs, and future maintenance through health checks and video assessments.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Experience in a technical automotive role is required; diverse backgrounds from the automotive sector are welcomed.
• Must hold a minimum Level 2 NVQ or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, alongside a valid MOT Tester Licence.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory as training will be provided.
• Full UK driving licence required.
