Job overview
Builder Finance Inc. is a mortgage lender serving homebuilding businesses and rental home investment companies nationwide. The company is known for competitive pricing, strong lending terms, and a client experience focused on responsiveness and service.
This role owns the end-to-end loan closing workflow and serves as BFI’s point of representation during closings. The position involves document preparation and review, settlement statement handling, title insurance coordination, closing and funding support, extension paperwork, and making sure lending documents are properly executed, recorded, and filed. Regular coordination with borrowers, internal teams, and outside vendors is part of the job.
The compensation package is described as highly competitive and includes a meaningful production-based bonus. The company also notes that the role is especially attractive for candidates already working in a similar position.
For at least the first 12 months, the role will be fully remote. Travel is expected to be essentially none, aside from a possible annual visit to the main office. In the longer term, if BFI opens an office in your area, you may be expected to work from the office at least part of the time.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the loan closing process from start to finish.
- Prepare, check, and distribute loan documents and settlement statements.

Qualifications
- Bring a proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to stay fully engaged.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and the confidence to surface and communicate issues quickly.
- Show personal motivation to produce high-quality work and deliver a strong client experience.
- Have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- If your most recent degree was completed within the last 5 years, include your cumulative GPA and transcript.
