About the Role

We are seeking a Molecular Biologist to join our Biological team. This role involves developing innovative solutions for detecting and characterizing pathogens using a multi-omics approach. You will be instrumental in designing and conducting experiments to understand the functional aspects of pathogens and evaluate the effectiveness of potential countermeasures. A key part of this role includes analyzing experimental results and effectively communicating findings to various stakeholders through detailed reports and engaging presentations.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, or Molecular Biotechnology.
  • Proven proficiency in a wide range of molecular biology techniques, including PCR, molecular cloning, and protein expression and purification.
  • Experience with cellular and biochemical assays to study bacterial characteristics and the anti-virulence properties of countermeasures.
  • Willingness to work in a Biosafety Level 3 (BSL3) environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • A motivated individual with a strong research interest and a commitment to staying current with biotechnology advancements, applying new knowledge to ongoing projects.
