Job description
Role Overview
The Mobilizer will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and encouraging participation of beneficiaries in various community programs by raising awareness and fostering involvement at the local level.
Key Duties
- Visit field locations to identify eligible beneficiaries and enroll them in relevant initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong connections with community members, educational institutions, and other stakeholders
- Drive awareness about organizational programs through meetings, outreach efforts, and campaigns
- Keep precise records of mobilization efforts and beneficiary information
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of programs
- Conduct consistent follow-ups and provide ongoing assistance to enrolled beneficiaries
- Compile basic field activity reports outlining progress and outcomes
Qualifications
- A graduate degree in any field
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Readiness to travel frequently and perform fieldwork
- Fundamental computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office
- Capability to function independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Preferred Attributes
- Experience working with NGOs or engaging in community/fieldwork activities
- Familiarity with local languages and the regional area
