This role excludes emergency callouts and roadside recoveries, allowing you to work from a preset schedule with all required tools and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine vehicle servicing and thorough diagnostics using advanced mobile tools.
• Perform detailed vehicle repairs typically done in a workshop environment.
• Provide members with knowledgeable advice and recommendations based on inspections.
• Execute vehicle safety inspections adhering to RAC standards.
• Manage jobs with clear digital scheduling, avoiding unexpected breakdown calls.

Working Conditions and Benefits

• Competitive base salary of 39,170, with potential on-target earnings reaching 32,000 including bonuses and overtime options.
• Guaranteed overtime scheme available, offering 30 per hour for extra rest days worked, potentially adding up to 3,000 to 5,000 annually.
• Regular work hours: 40 hours weekly, core hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM plus one Saturday in four.
• Fully equipped RAC van with tool set, fuel card, and uniform provided from day one.

Requirements

• Possess either an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of experience or 5+ years as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
• Hold a full UK driving licence with less than 6 penalty points.
