Mobile Security Officer

Role overview

Laing O'Rourke, in partnership with Select Security, is recruiting a group of Security Officers for a project connected to a new development route between Grimsby and Walpole. The positions are for night-time cover on long-term work, with 12-hour shifts and working hours ranging from 48 to 60 hours each week.

This is a mobile security position focused on protecting premises and construction environments, preventing unauthorised entry into restricted or hazardous areas, and responding to CCTV-triggered incidents across remote locations using a site vehicle.

What the role offers

• Hourly pay starts at £14.00 and increases to £14.90 after probation.

• A valid SIA licence in security guarding, door supervision, or close protection.
• A current UK driving licence.
