Overview

Datamatics Technologies is seeking a skilled Mobile App Developer with 0 to 11 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain efficient and user-friendly mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in native and cross-platform development frameworks and possess strong programming fundamentals to deliver scalable solutions.

Key Duties

• Develop, test, and sustain mobile applications for Android and iOS devices.
• Create reusable and scalable components to support application stability.
• Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams to ensure top-quality application delivery.
• Integrate applications seamlessly with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Enhance app performance, security, and scalability continually.
• Identify and fix bugs or other application issues promptly.
• Engage in code review processes and contribute to system architecture discussions.
• Manage app deployment and maintenance on app stores while adhering to platform guidelines.

Required Skills

• Experience with Flutter, React Native, React Expo, Swift, Kotlin, Xamarin, Ionic, or .NET MAUI frameworks.
• Proficiency in Dart, JavaScript, TypeScript, Swift, or Kotlin programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and iOS SDK.
• Expertise in consuming REST APIs and handling JSON data.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Understanding of mobile application architectural patterns like MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, or BLoC.
• Experience with debugging, optimizing app performance, and managing memory effectively.
• Knowledge of mobile app lifecycle management, deployment, and release procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.

Additional Desirable Skills

• Experience with backend-as-a-service platforms like Firebase, Supabase, or AWS Amplify.
• Familiarity with local databases such as SQLite, Hive, Realm, Core Data, or Room.
• Understanding of state management tools like Redux, Provider, Riverpod, GetX, MobX, or BLoC.
• Testing skills using Jest, Flutter Test, XCTest, Espresso, or Detox frameworks.
• Capability to implement push notification services via Firebase Cloud Messaging or Apple Push Notification Service.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Bitrise, or Codemagic.
• Hands-on experience with device integrations including Google Maps, location services, camera, Bluetooth, biometrics, and payment gateways.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum project management methodologies.
• Experience publishing applications on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 0 to 11 years experience in mobile application development with production-ready app delivery.
• Solid understanding of secure coding principles and mobile app security concerns.
• Keen interest in learning new mobile technologies and staying current with industry best practices.
