Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and repair of our operational machinery and equipment. This full-time role involves ensuring high availability of production systems while adhering to safety standards, with opportunities for career growth in a welcoming team environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and service company machinery and equipment, handling tasks from routine maintenance to repairs and upgrades.
- Continuously enhance equipment uptime, complying with workplace safety regulations.
- Fabricate tools and operational aids within the in-house workshop.
- Work with a range of production systems including fiber opening and carding machines, sewing and quilting machines, as well as fiber filling stations.
- Manage intralogistics components such as conveyor systems, silos, and packaging machinery.
Candidate Profile
- Completed training as Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or a comparable qualification.
- Initial work experience, preferably in maintenance within manufacturing or on-site assembly.
- Solid knowledge of maintenance and commissioning of machinery and industrial installations.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Willingness to work in two shifts and occasional Saturdays.
- Forklift driving license is advantageous.
- Skills in electric welding are a plus.
- Experience with 2D CAD systems is beneficial.
