Role overview
PepsiCo Foods Canada is hiring a licensed Millwright for its Frito Lay facility in Cambridge, Ontario. This is a night-shift opportunity on weekdays, with hours from Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Compensation
The pay rate is $50.37 per hour, plus shift premiums.

Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative and predictive maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently and reduce unexpected downtime
- Complete daily maintenance assignments while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity
- Act promptly on breakdowns and troubleshoot equipment issues as they occur
- Support root cause investigations and apply corrective measures to avoid repeat failures
- Partner with operators and other trades across the site to reduce downtime, safety hazards, and quality issues
- Communicate effectively during shift changes and team meetings to keep work orders and maintenance activities aligned
- Use strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment
- Respond to and manage emergency equipment breakdowns
Qualifications
- Must have a valid Ontario Millwright 433A licence
- An additional trade ticket such as Electrical or Welding is considered an advantage and may lead to extra pay
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Ability to operate machine shop tools and perform welding work
- Strong work ethic, positive mindset, and willingness to contribute in a team setting
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs when needed
- Continuous-improvement mindset with attention to safety, efficiency, and reliability
- Clear communication skills and basic computer ability for tasks such as creating work orders and recording maintenance work
- Previous experience with production or packaging equipment in a food manufacturing setting is preferred
- Experience using a CMMS to track work orders and log hours is preferred
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the business
