Role Overview
A prominent fabrication company based in Mildenhall, Suffolk is actively hiring experienced MIG Welders or candidates possessing considerable practical welding skills who are eager to advance their expertise in a supportive, progressive setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on mild and stainless steel materials.
- Conduct jig work to ensure precision in fabrication processes.
- Prepare metal parts adequately for subsequent welding operations.
- Execute fundamental fabrication assignments as required.
- Interpret and utilize engineering drawings accurately for assembly tasks.
Compensation, Hours & Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage starting at £16.00, increasing up to £18.00 depending on welding proficiency and tests.
- Various shifts available Monday to Friday: 06:00-14:00, 07:00-15:00, and 08:00-16:00.
- Potential for overtime work with additional pay incentives.
- After a successful three-month probation period, the position transitions to permanent with eligibility for 30 days of annual leave.
