MIG Welder

Position Overview

Layam Group is inviting applications for the role of MIG Welder to join the team at TATA Marcopolo Motors Limited located in Dharwad, Karnataka, near Hubli. This recruitment drive is to fulfill 80 openings for skilled welders proficient in MIG and CO2 welding techniques, capable of working in various welding positions including 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G.

Job Location and Shifts

• Workplace: TATA Marcopolo Motors Limited, Belur Industrial Area, Garag Road, Mummigatti Post, SH 73, Garag, Dharwad, Karnataka 580011
• Shift System: Two shifts available - A shift from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM and B shift from 2:50 PM to 11:40 PM
• Working Hours: 8 hours per shift
• Weekly off on Sunday

Candidate Profile

• Gender: Male candidates only
• Age Range: 19 to 35 years
• Weight Range: 45kg to 80kg

Salary and Compensation

• For Freshers (Welder Category 1): Gross salary approximately INR 23,653 per month; net take-home pay around INR 18,701 after deductions including PF, ESI, and once daily meal deduction.
• For Experienced Welders (Welder Category 2, 3+ years): Gross salary approximately INR 26,835 per month; net take-home pay about INR 22,501 after similar deductions.

Facilities and Requirements

• Canteen with meal availability during work hours
• Accommodation provided on rent basis at INR 1,200 per month
• Mandatory documents for application include resume, educational certificates, 2 copies of Aadhar card, PAN Card or Voter ID if available, bank passbook, and six passport-sized photographs.

Additional Details
