Role Overview

We are looking for a Midweight Graphic Designer who is passionate about films and skilled across multiple mediums such as print, digital, and video. This role involves a hybrid-remote working model requiring presence in the London office three days a week—specifically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday—with flexibility to work from the office on other days if preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior designers to craft and implement engaging creative solutions for promoting MUBI's curated film programs, including brand campaigns, social media content, film key artwork, and motion graphics for trailers.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams while demonstrating autonomy in task execution.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all creative outputs and adhere strictly to project briefs and deadlines.
  • Contribute creative ideas in brainstorming sessions.
  • Continuously explore innovative concepts to evolve MUBI's visual brand identity.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A modern design sensibility with a strong portfolio demonstrating conceptualization and creation across digital, mobile, print, and video platforms.
  • Experience in motion graphics and art direction.
  • Confident in articulating opinions while working collaboratively and remaining receptive to feedback.
  • Adept at multitasking in a dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritizing effectively.
  • A deep passion for film and design, staying current with emerging design trends and industry standards.
  • Formal education in design coupled with a minimum of three years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in design software including Figma, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects, capable of producing assets suitable for both digital and print.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Understanding of motion graphics principles.
  • Additional skills in image manipulation, editing, and compositing across various media are advantageous.
