Role overview

This opportunity is being handled by a partner company, which will manage all applications and subsequent hiring steps. The employer is seeking a Middle UX Researcher in Germany to help create user-focused digital products through research-backed insights.

In this role, you will work closely with designers, product teams, and other stakeholders in a collaborative environment. Your work will combine qualitative and quantitative research, behavioral analysis, and insight generation to support design and product decisions. You will also help strengthen research practices, maintain user knowledge resources, and contribute across the product development cycle in a fast-moving, innovation-oriented setting.

Accountabilities

  • Plan, set up, and run both qualitative and quantitative user research projects.
  • Create research assets such as surveys, questionnaires, usability test scripts, and interview frameworks.
  • Assist with recruiting participants and organize user interviews and usability sessions.
  • Gather, structure, analyze, and interpret data from research studies and analytics tools.
  • Build research summaries, presentations, and practical recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Keep the organization’s user knowledge repository current and continuously expanded.
  • Join ideation sessions to uncover opportunities for improving the user experience.
  • Run competitor reviews and compare findings against industry best practices.
  • Help improve research methods, workflows, and internal operating processes.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with both qualitative and quantitative UX research.
  • Solid understanding of research methods such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and user journey mapping.
  • Working knowledge of statistics and data analysis approaches.
  • Ability to turn research results into concise, practical recommendations.
  • Experience preparing research reports, presentations, and documents for stakeholders.
  • Comfort using collaboration and design tools like Figma, Miro, or similar applications.
  • Exposure to remote user testing and research platforms.
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • A degree or specialized training in UX Research, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related discipline is an advantage.
