Mid-Weight Graphic Designer (Layout Artist) - Contract Role

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and meticulous Mid-Weight Graphic Designer / Layout Artist with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic in-house creative team on a 12-month contract basis. This position is ideal for an individual who prospers in fast-moving settings, manages multiple tasks efficiently, and values delivering precise and premium-quality outputs.

Key Duties

• Develop polished layouts for various materials including reports, presentations, brochures, and client-focused documents.
• Create visually compelling marketing collateral and client communications consistent with brand guidelines.
• Maintain exemplary attention to detail and ensure uniformity in all deliverables.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to understand project briefs and produce effective creative solutions.
• Prepare artwork suitable for printing and modify content for diverse formats.
• Design graphics for digital campaigns, social media, and presentations displayed on screens.
• Handle several projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Between 3 and 5 years’ experience in a design studio, agency, or in-house creative team; experience in professional services is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Possess a well-rounded portfolio emphasizing layout design, typography, and document formatting.
• Strong organizational skills complemented by exceptional attention to detail and time management abilities.
• Comfortable interacting with non-design colleagues professionally to deliver suitable solutions.
• Fluency in English combined with strong communication skills.

Technical Expertise

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe InDesign (essential).
• Competence with Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong skills in PowerPoint presentation design.
• Understanding of layout principles, typography, and consistent brand application.
• Experience with motion graphics, animation, or video production is a plus.

Desirable Attributes

• Familiarity with template management, handling extensive documents, or working within corporate brand frameworks.
