Role Purpose
We are looking for a Branch Teller based in Oaxaca to provide comprehensive teller services, manage cash operations, and promote financial products while adhering to established bank policies and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver full teller services including deposits handling at the cash window.
- Process cheque payments with quality service and compliance to bank rules.
- Manage cash handling accurately.
- Promote financial products to clients.
- Perform cash balancing and daily cash reconciliation.
- Validate cheques and ensure proper transaction accuracy.
Required Experience and Education
- At least 1 year of professional experience in similar sales-related roles.
- Bachelor's degree in economic or administrative fields.
Technical Skills
- Ability to count, detect counterfeit bills, and reconcile cash transactions.
- Knowledge of banking products and services such as accounts, cards, deposits, withdrawals, and investments.
- Proficient use of banking systems and internal platforms including Bansefi, Santander apps, Excel basics, and transactional systems.
- Compliance with regulatory requirements including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and data confidentiality policies.
- Experience with customer service processes, cash opening/closing, shift management, and teller window operations.
- Basic digital tool proficiency including corporate email, intranet, and record-keeping tools.
- Bank security protocols and ability to handle suspicious transactions and reports.
