Role Overview

The company is expanding its skilled team and is seeking experienced stainless steel fabricators or welders for full-time and permanent opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Choose appropriate metal stock, including stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper, and mild steel.
• Cut metal sections and shapes with tools such as hand tools, plasma cutting torches, and guillotine machines.
• Form and shape cut metal using brake presses, folders, and rollers to create final products.
• Assemble and join components primarily through TIG welding.
• Polish and buff finished items to achieve the required surface quality.
• Install commercial kitchen equipment and other manufactured products onsite.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of an AQF Certificate III in Fabrication Trade or equivalent experience.
• Specialized experience with TIG welding and polishing of stainless steel, aluminium, brass, and specialty alloys is preferred.
• Experience in fabricating commercial kitchen equipment is advantageous.
