Role Overview
The company is expanding its skilled team and is seeking experienced stainless steel fabricators or welders for full-time and permanent opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Choose appropriate metal stock, including stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper, and mild steel.
- Cut metal sections and shapes with tools such as hand tools, plasma cutting torches, and guillotine machines.
- Form and shape cut metal using brake presses, folders, and rollers to create final products.
- Assemble and join components primarily through TIG welding.
- Polish and buff finished items to achieve the required surface quality.
- Install commercial kitchen equipment and other manufactured products onsite.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of an AQF Certificate III in Fabrication Trade or equivalent experience.
- Specialized experience with TIG welding and polishing of stainless steel, aluminium, brass, and specialty alloys is preferred.
- Experience in fabricating commercial kitchen equipment is advantageous.
