Metal Fabricating Shop Helper

Position Overview

This role involves assisting in a metal product manufacturing environment, performing tasks primarily on-site at our Guelph, Ontario location. Candidates will polish metal pieces to achieve a mirror-like finish using hand tools.

Work Environment

• Work is conducted in an industrial setting characterized by dust, heat, and noise.
• Requires standing for prolonged durations and engaging in repetitive, physically demanding tasks with manual dexterity.
• Must be capable of lifting weights up to 23 kilograms (50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to polish metal products to a mirror finish.

Experience and Equipment

• No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided.
• Familiarity or comfort with hand tools is needed.
