About the Role
This part-time student job at Koelnmesse offers varied work in a lively trade-fair setting with fair pay and schedules that can be coordinated with your studies. You will join a team supporting well-known catering clients at events in an international environment. Each year, Koelnmesse hosts more than 80 trade fairs, exhibitions, and events, creating a dynamic workplace with plenty of variety.
Key Tasks
- Assist across different food and beverage areas at the trade fair
- Look after buffet stations and ensure they run smoothly
- Serve food and drinks in hospitality areas
- Support customer service in exhibition outlets
- Prepare snacks and pour beverages
- Keep the workspace clean and well organized
- Follow HACCP hygiene and food safety rules
- For night owls: evening shifts are available at events such as trade-fair and booth parties
Requirements
- You must be enrolled at a college, university, or university of applied sciences
- You need to be at least 18 years old
- You should enjoy working in a guest-facing role
- Initial experience in service or at trade fairs is a plus
- You should be flexible, dependable, and comfortable working in a team
- Very good German skills are required; additional foreign languages are an advantage
- A well-groomed appearance and polite manners are expected
- You should bring motivation and energy to the role
- You need the medical instruction/certification under Section 43 of the Infection Protection Act (IfSG)
