Job description
Role overview
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys talking with people, helping them get started, and gaining hands-on business experience. In this client onboarding role, you will work with small and mid-sized business owners who have already shown interest in upgrading their payment and point-of-sale setup.
Your main focus will be to guide clients through a simple onboarding journey, respond to their questions, and ensure they feel confident about the next steps. Prior experience in payments or POS systems is not required, as training, tools, and ongoing support will be provided.
What you will do
- Connect with business owners to understand how they currently run their operations.
- Explain the available payment and POS options in a clear and helpful way.
- Join scheduled conversations and keep in touch with businesses that are interested.
- Support new clients as they complete onboarding and initial setup.
- Record call details, progress notes, and updates in the CRM.
- Work with the team to meet onboarding targets and growth objectives.
Why this role is a good entry-level opportunity
- No prior background in the industry is needed.
- You will receive structured training and easy-to-follow workflows.
- There is a consistent flow of interested businesses, so there is no cold prospecting or door-to-door outreach.
- You can build practical experience in client communication and business development.
- The role can open paths toward senior onboarding, account management, or sales positions.
What we are looking for
We are seeking someone who feels comfortable speaking with new people, stays dependable and organized, and is open to coaching. The ability to manage time well in a remote setting is important, along with basic computer skills and familiarity with video meetings. Experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality would be an advantage.
Compensation and work setup
This is a full-time remote position based in the United States. Compensation is performance-based with earning potential above the base level. The schedule is consistent, includes no weekends, and comes with ongoing coaching, professional development, a supportive team environment, and strong long-term career growth opportunities.
