Role summary

This is a full-time, on-site position in Los Angeles, California for a Merchandise Coordinator focused on accessories. The role supports the planning, execution, and communication of merchandising strategy across footwear and accessory lines. Reporting to the Director of Licensing and Partnerships, the coordinator helps manage assortments, align style information, analyze the market, and support planning efforts that advance the brand’s growth objectives in partnership with the Merchandise Planning team.

Key duties

  • Oversee the Style Master and keep all product records accurate, organized, and complete, with particular attention to licensed accessory categories such as footwear, swimwear, sleepwear, hats, bags, and belts.
  • Partner with production, buying, planning, and merchandising teams to ensure seasonal style and SKU setup is correct and maintained throughout each selling season.
  • Prepare and maintain seasonal line sheets, and help compile style details for go-to-market documentation.
  • Coordinate samples with marketing, creative, e-commerce, and PR teams for photo shoots, JOOR line sheets, New York sales markets, press previews, and related events.
  • Handle the licensing design calendar and help arrange design reviews and line review meetings.
  • Work with design teams and outside licensees or partners on print artwork requirements and creative direction.
  • Support research for new categories and carry out competitive analysis.
  • Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams to support merchandise assortment planning.
  • Consolidate seasonal hindsight data with planning partners to inform licensed product analysis and future planning decisions.
  • Join weekly cross-functional meetings to review findings, outcomes, and next steps.

Requirements

  • Advanced Excel capability.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt in a changing environment.
  • Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in planning or buying within the retail industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Compensation

The expected pay range for this role is $73,000 to $75,000 annually.

The position is based in Los Angeles, CA and requires on-site presence.
