At Andromeda, we are revolutionizing this by creating a liquidity layer that facilitates flexible, scalable AI infrastructure, previously only accessible by hyperscale companies. Founded by Nat Friedman and Daniel Gross, our platform enables deploying compute clusters across foreign data centers, transforming hardware into accessible clusters for AI research labs globally. Currently, Andromeda supports over 80 customers and 30 capacity providers, managing tens of thousands of GPUs and billions of GPU-hours on machines ranging from A100 to GB300.

Role Overview

We seek engineers capable of understanding and owning the end-to-end system from machine-level operations to billing and product delivery. This role involves developing the system that handles capacity quoting, reservation, funding, and billing, along with the APIs that connect and manage our infrastructure. Responsibilities also include building self-service capabilities from onboarding to workload deployment, creating dashboards for various stakeholders, and participating in on-call rotations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the authoritative system that handles quoting, reserving, funding, and billing capacity across the marketplace
• Develop and maintain comprehensive APIs to operationalize infrastructure
• Implement and oversee financial workflows including metering, billing, invoicing, and settlements
• Build self-service tools facilitating user signups to workload execution
• Create and maintain dashboards tailored for customers, providers, and operators
• Engage in on-call duties to ensure operational reliability

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven technical expertise with impactful work experience ranging from three years to multiple decades
• Proficiency working across technology stacks, including Go, Python, and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of transactional integrity and accuracy
• Experience in API design covering OpenAPI specification, versioning strategies, and backward compatibility
• Work experience integrating with Kubernetes or managing bare-metal infrastructure
• Background in at least one of the following domains: billing and payments, marketplace platforms, or multi-tenant access control systems
• Product-oriented mindset with a history of influencing product development and outcomes
