Job description
Role summary
This is a full-time remote position for a Member of Technical Staff focused on legal research. The work can be done from anywhere and is centered on supporting product development and compliance by analyzing legal and regulatory requirements.
Compensation
The annual payout for this role is $350K to $500K.
What you will do
- Study laws, regulations, and case decisions to guide product-related choices.
- Create technical methods and tooling that streamline legal research workflows.
- Work closely with cross-functional partners to embed legal guidance into product design.
- Track new legal developments and assess how they may affect technology products.
- Prepare technical documentation and compliance guidance for product development.
What the role requires
- A Juris Doctor degree or an equivalent legal qualification.
- Practical knowledge of legal research methods and research tools.
- Background in regulatory analysis and compliance frameworks.
- The ability to convert legal ideas into technical specifications.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
