Role Summary
This full-time position is for a Member of Technical Staff focused on legal research, working remotely from anywhere. The selected candidate will help a client build and improve products by studying legal and regulatory requirements and turning those findings into practical technical solutions.
Compensation
The stated annual payout for this role is USD 350K to USD 500K.
What You Will Do
- Study laws, regulations, and case law to guide product and business decisions.
- Create technical systems and workflows that make legal research faster and more efficient.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to bring legal input into product planning and design.
- Track new legal and regulatory developments and assess how they may affect technology products.
- Prepare documentation and internal guidance to support legal compliance during product development.
Required Background and Skills
- A Juris Doctor degree or an equivalent legal qualification is required.
- Strong familiarity with legal research methods and research tools.
- Experience reviewing regulations and building compliance-related frameworks.
- Ability to convert legal concepts into technical specifications and requirements.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
