Role Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a client for a full-time Member of Technical Staff specializing in Legal Research. In this position, you will examine complex legal and regulatory environments to support product development and compliance work. The role also calls for building technical approaches that simplify legal research tasks and help ensure products remain aligned with changing legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Study laws, regulations, and court rulings in depth to guide product-related decisions.
- Create technical systems and tools that help automate legal research workflows.
- Work closely with teams across functions to bring legal insights into product design and development.
- Assess new legal and regulatory developments and consider how they may affect technology-based solutions.
- Prepare technical notes, documentation, and practical guidelines that support legal compliance in product development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A Juris Doctor degree or an equivalent legal qualification is required.
- Strong command of legal research methods and supporting research tools.
- Hands-on experience with regulatory review and compliance-related frameworks.
- Ability to convert legal ideas and obligations into technical requirements.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
Compensation
The role carries an annual payout in the range of USD 350,000 to USD 500,000.
