Job description
Role Overview
This position focuses on supporting clinical development systems, with a strong emphasis on the Medidata Rave platform. The role also benefits from hands-on exposure to back-end and database environments, along with experience handling technical tickets and day-to-day system support.
Core Technical Focus
- Work within the clinical development domain, especially around the Medidata Rave suite.
- Provide support for production systems and manage issues through a ticketing tool such as ServiceNow.
- Use Python at an intermediate level for RPA-related support and ad hoc tasks.
- Apply basic Java knowledge, particularly for authentication-related JAR file handling.
- Carry out troubleshooting and root-cause analysis at an advanced to expert level.
- Create and maintain Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures at an intermediate level.
- Use advanced SQL skills for querying, analysis, and support activities.
- Work with REST API web services at an intermediate level.
Preferred Skills
- Intermediate experience with Tableau.
- Intermediate familiarity with SAS.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Git.
- Exposure to Atlassian tools such as Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
- Basic knowledge of VisualCron for cron-based scheduling.
- Basic command-line usage in MSDOS.
- Prior experience in building IWR trials.
