About the Role

Mercor, a San Francisco-based company partnering with top AI research labs and backed by prominent investors, is seeking a Healthcare Expert for a contract position. This fully remote role involves assessing AI responses to complex medical cases to enhance clinical decision-making and patient outcomes. This part-time engagement requires a weekly commitment of 10 to 20 hours.

Key Responsibilities

Critically assess AI-generated solutions addressing difficult medical issues, aiming to improve diagnosis, treatments, and patient safety.
Analyze source data files and evaluate the rationale presented by each AI model to support informed evaluations.
Communicate clearly which AI outputs provide superior clinical accuracy, ensuring the outputs adhere to safety and quality standards in medical reasoning.
Deliver detailed written assessments to aid the research team in refining AI model responses.
Engage in onboarding and attend specialty-specific calibration meetings.

Qualifications and Requirements

Possession of an advanced clinical or biomedical degree such as MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent professional credentials and experience.
At least two years of experience in clinical practice, medical research, or a related biomedical discipline.
Familiarity and comfort in applying current clinical guidelines and practicing evidence-based medicine.
Strong command of written communication with exceptional attention to detail.

Additional Details

Compensation is $150 per hour.
The contract starts immediately with applications reviewed continuously.
