Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organized Medical Services Support 1 professional to provide administrative support across medical services operations. This position plays an important part in keeping transactions moving smoothly and maintaining clear communication with providers and clients.
Schedule and Location Requirement
Candidates must be comfortable working in the Eastern time zone. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a large volume of administrative tasks while maintaining speed and accuracy
- Enter and update information in medical platforms and databases
- Review documents to confirm they are complete and meet compliance standards
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and case managers in a professional manner
- Support established workflow procedures and operating protocols
- Protect the privacy and confidentiality of sensitive medical records
- Work within contractual rules, expectations, and requirements
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- 1 to 2 years of experience in medical administrative support is preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant certification is preferred
- Experience in Occupational Health or Workers’ Compensation is preferred
- Strong focus on accuracy and careful attention to detail
- Good organizational ability and task management skills
- Comfort using computer systems and performing data entry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Compensation and Benefits
The expected base wage for this role is $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on skills, experience, education, and the relevant U.S. market. The benefits package may include medical, dental, and vision coverage, health savings accounts or flexible spending accounts, life and AD&D insurance, a 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and other wellness-focused resources. Benefit eligibility can vary based on full-time or part-time status.
