Role Overview
This position as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is dedicated to enhancing cancer treatment through innovative diagnostic technologies and precision medicine methodologies. The role entails contributing to medical strategy, spearheading educational initiatives, and supporting evidence development in the specialized field of precision oncology. Collaboration across clinical, commercial, and medical teams is required to advance genomic service offerings and cancer diagnostics within Singapore and the wider region.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage and collaborate with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in oncology, hematology, and pathology sectors to promote genomic testing and advanced diagnostics.
- Provide expert scientific education on concepts such as minimal residual disease (MRD), multi-cancer early detection (MCED), and targeted therapy decisions within the framework of precision oncology.
- Organize and support advisory boards, educational programs, and clinical research activities.
- Lead initiatives involving real-world data collection and cooperate on investigator-initiated research projects.
- Consolidate insights from Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Clinical operations to optimize organizational strategies.
- Represent the company at scientific conferences and contribute to both regional and international scientific endeavors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of an advanced degree such as MD, PhD, or PharmD with specialization in oncology, genetics, or molecular biology.
- Between two to four years of professional experience within medical affairs related to oncology or diagnostic fields.
- Expertise with next-generation sequencing (NGS), liquid biopsy methodologies, MRD, and MCED technologies.
- Strong communication abilities with demonstrated experience engaging healthcare professionals and effectively working within cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with healthcare ecosystems both within Singapore and the broader Asia-Pacific region, as well as global healthcare landscapes.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, empathy, and ability to perform effectively both independently and collaboratively.
