Role Overview
As a Medical Science Liaison for Germany, you will act as the scientific liaison within the Medical Affairs team. The role is strategic and non-promotional, focusing on building and maintaining scientific collaborations with key national and international experts. You will facilitate scientific exchange, generate and communicate medical insights, support evidence generation, clinical activities, and medical education programs, while working closely across various teams including Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, HEOR, Commercial, and Market Access.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture scientific relationships with Key External Experts, opinion leaders, and academic partners.
- Deliver accurate, balanced, and scientifically valid medical information to healthcare professionals.
- Collect and share healthcare insights to inform medical strategy and business planning.
- Participate in advisory boards, investigator meetings, scientific symposia, and educational initiatives.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations and HEOR to support clinical studies and evidence generation programs.
- Develop and update medical content aligned with strategic objectives.
- Promote innovative digital scientific exchange methods, including omnichannel and virtual engagement approaches.
- Support partnerships with patient organizations and other healthcare stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- Completed Master's degree in natural sciences, pharmacy, medicine or a related discipline.
- Strong scientific background through education and/or professional experience.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably in Medical Affairs field roles such as Medical Science Liaison.
- Deep knowledge of healthcare system structures and processes.
- Experience with digital communication platforms, virtual events, and omnichannel strategies.
- Excellent communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent German and good English language skills.
