Position Summary

This position involves scheduling patient appointments efficiently and courteously either by phone or face-to-face. You will welcome and guide patients, visitors, and sales representatives, update patient eligibility information, complete registrations, and manage insurance documentation. Additionally, the role requires collecting copayments at the time of service and handling payment postings accurately. Managing hold claims daily and referring outstanding balances to the business office are also key duties. This role operates under the guidance of a supervisor or coordinator and is based on-site at our newly established Helena clinic. Remote working is not an option for this position.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 months of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with insurance procedures is required.
• Possession of a valid driver's license for work-related travel.

Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous.
• Proficient telephone communication and basic computer skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Capability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting while ensuring patient care remains the focus.
