Role Overview
The Medical Representative is accountable for driving product sales in an assigned territory by carrying out promotional and field-based activities. The role focuses on building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, sharing product knowledge, and supporting business growth within the area.
Responsibilities
- Visit physicians to support patient management through Viatris products.
- Share scientific information with healthcare professionals using product samples, medical literature, and relevant clinical evidence to support informed decisions.
- Maintain contact with healthcare practitioners such as key opinion leaders, physicians, pharmacists, and other stakeholders to collect feedback and questions about Viatris products.
- Explain correct product use, dosage guidance, and potential side effects to healthcare professionals.
- Report customer requests, responses to promotions, product access issues, and changes in the healthcare or hospital environment to the manager.
- Contribute market insights to the marketing team during campaign preparation, based on actual customer needs and market conditions.
- Monitor stock availability, product consumption, and the ordering process.
- Arrange advisory board activities in the assigned area.
- Submit regular reports on healthcare professional visits and other field activities.
- Create short-term action plans for the assigned territory and product portfolio.
- Maintain and update the customer list based on segmentation and customer insights.
- Understand disease management needs of customers and healthcare providers.
- Develop new advocates by aligning with customer priorities and requirements.
- Prepare monthly reports covering sales, activity updates, market feedback, risks, and opportunities.
- Take part in building the engagement plan and contribute to its implementation.
- Support customer engagement through partnership-based programs.
- Identify additional business opportunities and broaden territory reach.
- Work under the general guidance of the Sales Manager while remaining fully responsible for business and financial outcomes in the assigned geography.
- Ensure achievement of territory budget targets, including growth rate, market share, and EI (IMS parameters).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
- Saudi national.
- Up to 3 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical companies.
- Educational background in medical or pharmaceutical studies.
- Strong command of English.
- Proven selling ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good computer proficiency.
- Strong interpersonal and team-building abilities.

Additional Information
