Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position is for a Medical Receptionist based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role centers on welcoming patients, handling check-in and check-out activities, and making sure patient details are entered correctly into the clinic’s systems. The position also includes answering calls, managing questions from patients, arranging and reconfirming appointments, and working with the clinical team to keep patient movement orderly and efficient.
Key Duties
In this role, you will support day-to-day front desk operations, manage patient records, assist with basic documentation checks, process payments when required, and keep the reception area neat and professional. You will coordinate closely with doctors, nurses, and other staff members to help ensure smooth clinic operations and a positive experience for every patient.
Requirements
Applicants should have strong experience in appointment coordination and receptionist work, including patient admissions, discharge procedures, and managing daily schedules. The role also calls for polished phone manners and customer service ability, along with the confidence to respond to inquiries and route calls in a courteous and efficient way.
A working understanding of medical terminology and general medical office procedures is needed to communicate accurately with patients and clinical staff. Candidates should be comfortable using computers, clinic software, electronic records, and scheduling systems, and must bring strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. The position requires discretion, the ability to handle several tasks at once, and a patient-centered mindset. Prior experience in a clinic or medical reception setting is essential, while training in healthcare or administration is considered an added advantage.
