Role Overview
We have an opening for a Medical Laboratory Assistant within the Cellular Pathology Department at the Royal Free Hospital in London. This role involves supporting histopathology laboratory activities, including sample handling and processing in a clinical environment. Attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and enthusiasm are essential. Although previous laboratory experience is preferred, comprehensive training will be provided.
The position requires working 37.5 hours weekly, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with an additional paid Saturday rotation upon completion of training. The lab operates under full UKAS accreditation and offers a supportive and pleasant workplace with excellent staff amenities.
