About the role
The Manitoba government is hiring a Medical Equipment Storekeeper for the Materials Distribution Agency within Procurement and Supply Chain in Winnipeg, MB. This is a regular, full-time ST1 Storekeeper 1 position supporting public service delivery.

What you’ll do
In this role, you will deliver, assemble, and collect both new and used medical equipment in private homes while maintaining a courteous, service-oriented approach. You will plan and complete daily routes in varying weather conditions, carry out minor repairs, and ensure used equipment is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected so it meets required standards for cleanliness and function.
How you’ll be assessed
To be considered, you must submit both an application form and a resume. A cover letter is not mandatory, though you may be asked later for references or additional documents if you are shortlisted.
Eligibility and selection notes
An eligibility list may be established for comparable roles and can remain active for up to 12 months. Applicants may request reasonable accommodation during the hiring process. Conditions of employment
- You must be legally allowed to work in Canada.
- You need to hold and keep a valid full Class 5 Manitoba driver’s licence.
- You must provide and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Search.
- You must be physically able to lift and move loads of up to 36 kg (80 lbs), including in adverse weather conditions.
- You must be willing to complete Power Forklift certification and Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification by air and by ground.
Salary and closing date
Compensation for this ST1 role is $43,273 to $52,068 per year. The application closing date is July 13, 2026.
