Overview
An exciting full-time role is available for a Medical Education Administrator to support the Appraisal and Revalidation Manager at the Grange University Hospital, Cwmbrân. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the Medical Education administration team, contributing to all facets of medical education and developing specialised knowledge in medical appraisal and revalidation within Wales and the wider UK.
Job Responsibilities
- Gain and maintain expertise about the processes of medical appraisal and revalidation across Wales and the broader UK context.
- Prepare, update, and manage correspondence related to appraisal and revalidation activities.
- Acquire thorough knowledge of medical education frameworks and initiatives throughout Wales and the UK.
- Assist in ensuring services are customer-focused and work towards maintaining high-quality assurance standards.
- Support the Medical Education Manager in organizing, developing, and executing training programmes and events for junior medical staff at the Grange University Hospital, coordinating closely with other Health Board sites to maintain consistency and effectiveness.

Additional Information
The position is classified under NHS Agenda for Change within Band 3, with salary adjustments effective from April 2026, applied retrospectively from August 2026.
